More and more agencies produce bodycam through Axon's Evidence.com portal. The share email looks simple, the access is real, and it quietly disappears on a schedule you don't control.
The DA shares specific evidence items to your email. You create a free Evidence.com account (or log into the one you forgot you have), and the shared items appear under Shared With Me. Each item usually allows streaming, and, if the sharer enabled it, download. Access commonly expires in days or a few weeks, and the sharer can revoke it any time.
Open every shared item and download the original file, not a screen recording. If the download button is missing, the share was stream-only: reply to the producing office and ask for download permission or a direct file production. Ask for the audit trail and metadata if chain of custody may matter later.
Name what you download by officer and date as you go. Four files called video.mp4 help nobody in six months.
Downloaded bodycam is just the start: hours of footage across multiple officers still has to be reviewed. That's our core service: every camera transcribed, speakers identified from your discovery, timestamps tied to the real clock, delivered as court-ready Word documents in 2 to 3 business days, next business day if you rush it.
Downloaded the footage? Upload it here and it comes back readable.
